I use and recommend the FileZilla client version 3.

to export the settings from FileZilla2 use File | Site Manager
- in the window that opens select File | Export
see here for how to import the settings.

I also use the FileZilla server for which I'd like to see more features to group and administer users and groups.

I have also registered for the Community portal.
