Small suggestions:

  • Use proper wiki formatting for the sections
  • Use .png as image file format for the screenshots, .jpg is of bad quality and looks horrible.

Help for laypeople

All the filezilla help pages are very shallow, with many lists of options but rarely any explanation of them, so an inexperienced user is none the wiser as to what the choices do or what the terminology means.

Some systematic explanatory help for lay people would make it possible for all users to use the software, and to know if there is a genuine problem when it doesn't work.

Have a non-geek review the help pages and translate jargon into usable instruction.

Spanish

Is more widely spoken than english (332 million), but there are people out there which do not understand the language. (It could be Portuguese, I'm not an expert)(Yes, its Portuguese) Thus, english please.

Using Filezilla to upload documents to multiple servers at the same time.

We currently use Filezilla to upload documents to an enterprise management system. Is there a way that we can upload to a secondary server at the same time?

Copying rather than moving

The Using guide says: "Or, you can click on a file, then drag the file (a box is added to the arrow cursor) to the folder where you want to move it. The folder will be highlighted when you are over it. Let go of the mouse button and the file will be moved to the folder."

What if I want to copy (rather than move) and the source and destination are both on the remote server? If I drag and drop, it moves the selected items, but I want to copy instead. 98.245.88.136 02:08, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
