Much easier sooltiun.  Set up both your primary computer (laptop or desktop) as the  server  and allow it to be connected thru remote users (in the control panel).  On your other computer go to the control panel and use the wizard to set up a home network.  Once the two computers are commuincating with each other, create a shared folder. This will allow you to put items in there on one computer and see it, grab it form another computer.
