Network Configuration

Received my Tenda W268R Router fast enough, set-up a few days later and am pleaesd my unit appears factory new and is working as expected. This was an impulse buy so, I took the time to read everything and set-up was a breeze. It's not necessary to use the set-up CD if you know your settings for the router firmware, enter them and you're up and running quickly, smoothly and securely. The most noticeable difference (from my WRT54GL router) is the speed doubled, nearly tripled! Transmission range isn't as broad as I had hoped but, still, a considerable increase. Otherwise, better security. Okay, Sweet! That says it all for this low-cost router. Since it's only been a few days running now, my only concern may be longevity. I expect trouble-free performance and I'm hoping for 5-10 years of reliable service from this Tenda router. So far, overall, I am very pleaesd this has been an outstanding purchase!
