Glass will soften and melt, like you see glass blwoers do. Using a torch and a glass rod you can seal the crack by melting pieces together. Be careful to keep the glass at the right temperature or it will shatter. I would suggest finding a glass blower and have him fix it, or just replace the whole pane.
