To have a successful blog and to get more reeadrs and increase your page views, it's usually better to pick a theme and then try to stay as close to the theme as possible. For instance, one of my blogs is about the life of the freelance writer. I try to keep my articles on that blog related only to writing in some way. I come up with how I come up with ideas, when I submit something for consideration, tips and hints on getting published, and then occasionally brag or boast as well as promote some of my writings on which blog.
