Network Configuration

I have had this on my computer boerfe. It is an internet pop up virus that installs itself on the next reboot of your computer. No virus scan will pick it up, I've tried. Eventually it will stop letting you access the internet and the pop ups get very annoying as it keeps trying to run.I really don't think there's any way to get rid of it by installing anything and running it, because I tried everything, and I eventually had to reset my entire PC. If you end up getting to that point where you have nothing else to do, then back up all your files and wipe everything and reset it, and it will work fine after that. Don't let anyone tell you that you need to buy a whole new computer, because you don't.As to your last question, I have no idea whether they can get viruses as I have never had a mac. They certainly shouldn't be able to get this same virus because of the different operating systems, but I would find it EXTREMELY unlikely that they would not be able to get any virus.Hope I helped, I know how much this sucks.
