hi,Your Xoom does have to be roeotd to do Big DX.  However you do not need to be roeotd for the minimalistic text and the Circle launcher, in fact my most favorite parts of the interface comes from the minimalistic text and circle launcher.  The Big DX just made certain icons glow.I lost changes with upgrade to 3.1 because of the root.  If I wasn't roeotd I wouldn't have lost anything, so you should be fine when the update comes out.  However there is no backup application unless your roeotd. (yes very weird)  And if you were to root, you would loose all your xoom date that you currently have. For the MicroSD slot.  Its something that I have enabled because I am using a very customized version of 3.1 that someone else besides google madeIts a roeotd version of the OS, still cannot use if not roeotd.  Its not an official MicroSD functionality.  That is still to come.  I'm not sure exactly when.I'm glad you enjoy the videos and thank you for watching.
