Search Before Posting
There is a good chance you're not the first person to experience the issue you are having. By searching the forums, you may be able to find posts about the problem you are experiencing. Also, search the existing tickets in the project's Trac system. Make sure you do not create a new topic on something that has already been discussed before (known as posting a duplicate or 'dupe').

The behavior of upload and download recently changed on my FileZilla. I have used version 3.8.0 since March 28, 2014.
Sometime when I select a file, that file get uploaded or downloaded without clicking on upload or download. Sometimes a second files also gets uploaded or downloaded.
If I upload gee.php, the file gee.php.bak also gets uploaded.
Does anyone else have this problem? Can someone please find a solution?
I will gladly contribute $50 to have option added that prevents upload and download of files without clicking on upload or download.
