I had to revert to the previous edition, as the updated article contained too many factual errors and made unbased assumptions about "most users". | I had to revert to the previous edition, as the updated article contained too many factual errors and made unbased assumptions about "most users".

− | + | Either this is an addition to the development version, or it is wrong, probably copied from the client description. As it is now, I don't see anywhere else that says that FileZilla server supports SFTP, and since I am trying to use it, I looked to see if it is actually available, and I can't find where it is enabled if it is available.

By now - Feb. 2010 - there is a filezilla server setting for SFTP. But i cannot get it to work. Connection attempts with sftp-Clients from various Linux-Distributions are rejected. Is the Filezilla Server open source as well? I'm looking to add a couple of features, noticeably the ability of logging when a file transfer(s) to the server has been completed, so that an action may be triggered by it (for example, an email is sent or a MySQL database entry is made). | Is the Filezilla Server open source as well?
