A hardware frwieall can be extremely powerful. However, if it's external to your PC, it can't protect your wireless connection.Short answer: If you are in a home or business that has multiple computers, a hardware FW can provide a lot of protection for all of them at once. For any of the computers that use WL, however, you should have a software frwieall as well.
