i have folders of my old site and wish to delete them from my ntlworld web site http://homepage.ntlworld.com/david.horton10 just leaving the prison book as this was being used as a test site. now up on a real site. as site space is limited on ntlworld. need to delete. tried drag and drop /and right click/delete. the tree is gone through but nothing appears to be deleted. email:david.horton@ntlworld.com am i missing something?

I have experienced a similar result when trying to delete file from the remote. I am using MacOS-X 10.5 and a godaddy ftp folder. I can upload files to the remote but I cannot delete them when I am done with them. I have searched all over the FZ site and cannot find any help. OneButton FTP has a big delete button at the top of the screen. But I would rather use FZ if I could. jenkinsle@gmail.com

Was just wondering when an FTP connection is made to one of our clients sites at Hosting Habitat if FileZilla is disconnected prematurely mid transfer the permissions of the files change and the client is then unable to delete them later using standard methods why is this? Please let me know if you need a test environment to replicate this bug. We would like to know if it's a problem on our side or with the client software itself? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

A wiki is a place to provide solutions, NOT to ask questions. --CodeSquid

----- Then, where IS the place to ask questions????? It seems that YOU
violated YOUR own rule and DIDN'T provide an answer....
----- I'm only looking to find why FileZilla DOESN'T have a way to change the colons
in UNIX Filenames to underscores during transfer?????? It seems that a filter would be
the logical place to do this -- Microsoft's Services For UNIX does this - NO PROBLEM
----- It's NOT like this is a new issue....
