Using FTP with WordPress and for that matter a few other blog/social media ofwtsare is really easy and convenient, you don't have to be a big geek to do it! Just a comment on the dofollow plugin, adding this is a good way to get people commenting on your blog and leaving you good comments that add to the content of your site, thus boosting your positions on the search engine.
File => Export...
Lets you export any or all of the following contents:
- Site Manager entries;
- Settings
- Queue
The selected contents are saved in a .XML file that you can import to another computer, using the File => Import... option.
File => Show files currently being edited...
Bookmarks
Bold text
Chmod
Right click any file and then click "File Attributes" from the context menu.
