Client Installation

FileZilla Client installation is very simple, download the latest version to folder such as the "Desktop".

Make sure that the user account which is being used for the installation has administrative rights that allow the installation of software.

Double click on the installation program icon.

A screen will be displayed, where you can choose the Installer Language, select the language you require from the list. Then click on OK to continue.

The License Agreement screen will then be shown, take the time to read the agreement. If you agree then click on I Agree to continue, otherwise click on 'Cancel' to halt the installation.

The Choose Components screen will be shown, from the dropdown list select the type of install you want.

Follow the instructions on the screen and click on Next to continue.

On the next screen, Choose Install Location" either enter a new location or leave default localation, then click on Next to continue.

In the next screen, Choose Start Menu Folder, either enter a new location or leave default localation, then click on Next to continue.

On the following screen, General Settings select the options required for the secure mode and settings storage location, then click on Install to continue.

The installation program will now install FileZilla Client according to the selections made on the previous screens.

The progress bar will show the progress.

At the end of the installation the screen will show Installation Complete, you may now click on Close the end the installation.

FileZilla Client has now been complete sucessfully and can be launched either from the desktop shortcut, or the Start Folder Menu in which it might have been added.
