Binaries are provided for Windows, Linux and OS X. For all other platforms, you should check the package manager of your distribution or compile FileZilla manually from the source code.

For help on choosing the right download and installing, visit the Client installation page.

Note: FileZilla no longer runs on systems running Windows 9x/ME. It is strongly recommended you upgrade your operating system to Windows 2000 and above.

FileZilla Server

Download FileZilla Server 0.9.24 for Windows.

Notice: Check the files section over at the Sourceforge project page to guarantee that you get the latest version; the link above might not always point to the very latest version.

Development downloads

FileZilla Client 2.x

The source code for the FileZilla Client is available through the files section on Sourceforge.

FileZilla Client 3

FileZilla 3 has been released. The previous beta versions are available here. Nightly development builds are also available over at the FileZilla development pages. Builds are available for

  • Windows ("i586-mingw32msvc"),
  • GNU/Linux ("i586-linux-gnu"),
  • Mac OS X ("i686-apple-darwin8" and "powerpc-apple-darwin8"),
  • FreeBSD ("i386-pc-freebsd5.4"). (only through beta4)

For all other platforms, it can be built from source. Expect it to have bugs and lack functionality.

FileZilla Server

The source code for the FileZilla Server is available through Sourceforge.net's CVS system.
